Queen Mary Summer School

Make us your London home

Queen Mary Mile End Campus image

As a Queen Mary Summer School student, you can apply for a place in our comfortable housing in France House located within our Mile End Campus.

In France House you will have a single room and private bathroom, and share a kitchen and living space with 4-6 other programme attendees.

Attendees are not divided by country or course, giving you a chance meet people of all interests and from all around the world.

As well as the room amenities, you will enjoy unlimited free Wi-Fi in your accommodation and all across campus.

We understand some students may prefer single-gender housing; please email us at  summerschool@qmul.ac.uk to discuss this further.

Our modern campus is a peaceful oasis in a busy city, set beside the Regent’s Canal, looking on to Mile End Park. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of greenery and attractive outdoor spaces so it is easy to forget that you’re in the middle of a busy capital city. The city centre is a short walk or bus trip away, as are East-End hotspots like St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Spitalfields Market, Whitechapel and Brick Lane.

What about accessibility?

If you have any concerns about housing and accessibility, please get in touch with us before you apply ro as soon as possible afterwards so we can advise how your needs can be met summerschool@qmul.ac.uk.

I was very satisfied with the campus location because it wasn't in the middle of all the tourism or large crowds of people. It was very calming to return to it at the end of the day.
