Arriving in the UK

Student immigration requirements

Read the email you received when your Student visa was granted to check if you need to collect a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) card, and where to collect it from. Your BRP card will be valid until 31 December 2024 only. You will create an online account for an eVisa (digital visa) to prove your status from 2025.

Please carefully read the Advice and Counselling Service guidance: ‘Arrival in the UK’ about immigration requirements at the border and checklist once you have arrived in the UK.
