Queen Mary uses the Royal Society definition of research culture, in common with many other universities:
“Research culture encompasses the behaviours, values, expectations, attitudes and norms of our research communities. It influences researchers' career paths and determines the way that research is conducted and communicated.”
As a key element of our Strategy 2030, we are fostering a culture at Queen Mary where impact, innovation and engagement are an innate part of all research activity.
Please feel free to get in touch with the Research Culture team with any questions you might have at researchculture@qmul.ac.uk.
