PGR Training: Whisper AI (Packer-Stucki)

This event is for QMUL Linguistics postgraduate students.

Tom Packer-Stucki will be doing a training session on Whisper AI (a speech to text tool). The training will take place in Laws 209 and over Zoom: https://qmul-ac-uk.zoom.us/j/87689462935

The training will cover the following:

- What WhisperAI is

- How the software was created

- Its uses and limitations

- How to use the software to transcribe audio

You should bring along:
- An computer (unmanaged if possible)
- A short voice recording extract if you have one from your own data (example materials will also be provided)
