Part of our training programme, this event is open to postgraduate students across MA, MRes and PhD programmes.
This session is a general introduction to ethics in research and ethics procedures at QM. It is useful training whether or not you have particularly complex ethics considerations in your own project. Most major universities have IRB (institutional review board) protocols now, so if you are planning to go into an academic career it's good to be familiar with the subject. The first hour will be the main session, and the second will be additional time for further discussion or questions about specific projects.
