  • 1040 Abroad International Studies Scholarship

  • Aldgate and Allhallows Foundation Scholarship

    This is a means tested scholarship for permanent residents in the inner district of City of London or London Borough of Tower Hamlets who have lived there for at least three years.

  • Asylum Seekers Fee Concession

    We pleased to offer a tuition fee concession to all asylum seekers or children of asylum seekers who meet the eligibility criteria. 

  • Children of Alumni Award

    The Children of Alumni Loyalty Award gives £1000 of  year 1 overseas fees for children of international alumni.

  • Derek Shuttleworth Educational Trust Scholarship

    This is a means tested scholarship for permanent residents in the London Borough of Hackney who have lived there for at least three years.

  • Economics and Finance Placement Scholarship

    The aim of the Economics and Finance Placement Scholarship is to support home students from the School of Economics and Finance with a low household income to take the year in industry programme.

  • Global Talent Scholarship – Undergraduate

    Queen Mary University of London is delighted to offer Global Talent Scholarships worth £3,000 for highly qualified undergraduate offer holders joining us in September 2025.

  • Law Undergraduate Bursaries and Scholarships

    The School of Law offers a range of scholarships and bursaries for undergraduate students.

  • Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Undergraduate Bursary

    The Trust award bursaries of up to £3,000 a year for UK university students, who are in financial need, and whose parent or spouse is a commercial traveller, pharmacist or grocer, or the applicant themselves is employed in this capacity.

  • London Borough of Tower Hamlets University Bursary

    This is a means tested bursary for residents in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets of at least 3 years unless you are a refugee on the Ukraine or Afghan scheme.

  • Ocean Estate Bursary Scheme

    Residents of the Ocean Estate in Stepney starting an HE course can apply for an Ocean Estate Bursary of up to £3000.

  • PwC’s Flying Start Financial Bursary 2024/25

    The Flying Start Financial Bursary is aimed at supporting students with the day-to-day costs of university life. At PwC, the development and wellbeing of people is paramount, and the company are delighted to be able to award such a substantial bursary to support our students with their studies in accountancy.

  • Queen Mary Annual Fund Scholarship

    This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents (at least 3 years) in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney or students who have attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form in the London Borough of Havering.

  • Queen Mary Cowrie Scholarship 2025

  • Sally Sainsbury History Scholarship

    This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents (at least three years) in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney.

  • Sanctuary Scholarship 2025/26

    Queen Mary University of London is offering tuition fee and maintenance support for up to two undergraduate students who are asylum seekers or have a temporary immigration status awarded as a result of a claim for asylum but outside of the immigration rules, studying on degree programmes in the Faculty of Science & Engineering or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

    To be eligible for the Scape Scholarship you must meet the main criteria:

    • Be able to demonstrate with evidence that you are estranged from your family, a care leaver or a care experienced student (Scotland).

    In addition you must also:

    • Be applying for a full-time undergraduate degree offered by Queen Mary University of London, to be studied in person
    • Be holding a firm choice offer from Queen Mary
    • Have been assessed as eligible for home fees by Queen Mary

  • Sekforde House Trust Scholarship

    Applicants must have a place at Queen Mary University of London. The scholarships are available for existing students at all levels as well as students who have places to study. Students applying will be assessed against the Sekforde House Trust criteria.

  • Sheikh Family Scholars’ Fund

    The COSARAF Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the Sheikh Family Scholars’ Fund for Muslim undergraduate home students in financial difficulties. 

  • Talented Athlete Programme

    The Students’ Union Talented Athlete Programme aims to support high-performing athletes who are studying for a world-class degree at Queen Mary.

  • The John Abernethy (Barts) Scholarships

    The John Abernethy (Barts) Scholarships for 1st degree undergraduate MBBS and BDS students and are awarded to Home students.

  • The Simon Shades Award - Brun Bear Foundation

  • Unite Foundation Scholarship

    Queen Mary University of London works in partnership with the Unite Foundation to offer accommodation scholarships to young people who are care experienced or who are estranged from their families. The scholarship provides up to three years of free, year-round accommodation at Rahere Court.

  • William Spilsbury Scholarship 2025/26

    This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents (at least three years) in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackney.
