Refah has an MSc in Psychology and is an Assistant Psychologist in the NHS by background. She currently works as a Clinical Studies Officer at ELFT working on the ABATED study. Her main research interests have been in neuropsychology and spinal surgery, with current projects centring around the role of mental health in assessing suitability for surgery.
