Queen Mary Achieved EcoCampus EMS Gold Certificate
Queen Mary, University of London has continued to implement initiatives and processes to ensure that it is appropriately responding to all current and emerging risks as well as optimising opportunities to deliver good environmental outcomes.
We are pleased to inform all staff, students, stakeholders and partners that we have achieved the EcoCampus Environmental Management System (EMS) Gold Certificate. This award was issued to us on 8 July 2021 after a full-day external environmental audit. Attaining this certification aligns with our commitment to continue to improve our environmental performance, integrate the fundamentals of good environmental practice and the principles of sustainable development into all aspects of our operation.
We will continue to engage and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and interested parties in the course of our journey to become one of the UK’s most environmentally friendly Universities.
