Our alumni recipients represent outstanding contributions to public life, from healthcare and medical research to youth work and active citizenship.

  • Professor Sir Jack Cuzick CBE FRS awarded a Knight Bachelor for services to epidemiology.

  • Mr Dalim Basu MBE awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to young people and the promotion of science and technology.

  • Ms Judith Boichot MBE awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to the community in Dorset.

  • Professor Siobhan Quenby MBE awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to obstetrics research.

  • Mrs Jill Terrell BEM (Geography BA, 1987) awarded a Medal of the Order of the British Empire for services to libraries.
