He has written various articles on the subject, and also advised on the forensic aspects of many television drama series including Silent Witness, Waking the Dead, Ripper Street, Killing Eve, Midsomer Murders and Whitechapel. Rather than being a recent arrival on the medico-legal scene, coroners have actually been around for over eight centuries, and forensic medicine itself has an even longer history, with its origins now known to date from Ancient China. The talk traces the history of Forensic Medicine, Coroners and Suspicious Death Investigation through the centuries, from those early days in China, through to examples of some of the modern scientific techniques in use today.

This talk will address the issues around poor marginal fit of implant prostheses. Firstly we will discuss why is a good fit important and how can we confirm that? The results of a study that took place at QMUL will be presented which show the difference of fit in prostheses manufactured after conventional impressions and digital impressions.
