The Centre for Commercial Law Studies is pleased to host a lunchtime lecture by Professor Alan Rau on the topic of "Different Cultural Models of Arbitration". Professor Julian Lew and Professor Loukas Mistelis will provide comments.

Speaker

Professor Alan Rau holds the Mark and Judy Yudof Chair of Law at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a world-renowned scholar in arbitration and contract law, with numerous publications, including the leading book of Processes of Dispute Resolution: the Role of Lawyers. Among his many distinction, Professor Rau will be delivering the prestigious lecturers at the Hague Academy of international Law in the summer of 2019.

Professor Rau is currently visiting the Centre for Commercial Law Studies as the 2014 HSS Distinguished Visiting Fellow.
