Barts Centre for Squamous Cancer annual symposium 2024

Please join us for an afternoon of talks on 24th April 2024, for the annual symposium of the Barts Centre for Squamous Cancer.

Location: Clark-Kennedy lecture theatre, 5 Walden Street, Whitechapel, London, E1 2EF. Also live online.

Talks 1pm - 5pm, followed by a networking reception until 7pm.

1pm: UK keynote session, introduced by Joanne Martin, Deputy Vice Principal for Health, QMUL.

1:40pm: Session 1, Chair Gernot Walko

Barbara Fountain, Young Tongues. ‘The Young Tongues, a peer-to-peer support group for young tongue cancer patients’.

Suzanne Scott, QMUL. ‘Future cancer risk after urgent suspected cancer referral when cancer is not found’.

Carlos Lopez-Garcia, Manchester. ‘Building a novel human model to deconvolve genotype-phenotype causations in lung squamous cell carcinoma’.

Networking reception until 7pm

 

All presentations will be in person at the Clark-Kennedy lecture theatre, QM Innovation Centre, Walden Street, Whitechapel, London. There is the option to attend either in person or online. The symposium will be followed by a networking reception, to which all are welcome. Please register for your free ticket.
