Profile
Soft Matter Science and Mechanical Interfaces
My research aims at developing novel strategies to control the self-assembly and viscoelastic properties of hydrogels using novel building blocks (polymers, peptides and soft colloidal systems). The influence of the micro- and nanostructures onto the bulk properties of such hydrogels is particularly investigated. Another aspect of my work focuses on the tuning of viscoelastic properties of protein nanosheets assembled at liquid-liquid interfaces and their characterization using interfacial rheology.
