Profile
Biomaterials for mechanobiology
The field of mechanobiology has emerged to comprehend the importance of biophysical signals from the extracellular environment on cellular behaviours. Cells respond to a wide range of cues from their extracellular environment, including the mechanics. Biomaterials with tuned mechanical properties can act as extracellular matrix for cell culture. My project explores the effects of extracellular matrix viscoelasticity on cellular behaviour.
Interests: travel, photography, hiking, swimming, cycling, food and cooking, last but not least R&D with business acumen.
