Barts and The London ACS Presents: 'The Myth of The Strong Black Woman: Black Women and Their Experience with Depression' Event – Monday 10th October 2022, 6.00-7.30pm - The Milton Lecture Theatre, Garrod Building, Whitechapel Campus

  • This event is open to all staff and students. The talk and workshop will discuss the experience of Black women and depression in the UK.

Barts and The London ACS Presents: Panel Discussion with Black Surgeons in the UK – Tuesday 18th October

  • Join us for an in-depth discussion with four black surgeons, two women and two men about their journey in the healthcare system.

Race Equality Staff Network Lunch

Wednesday 2nd November 2022 12:30-2pm

Colleagues are invited to join the Race Equality Staff Network for a lunchtime networking afternoon. It is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the institution, reflect on this years Black History Month celebration and engage in the development stages of the staff network.

Location: Department W Sofa Room (Level 1)

Feel free to bring your colleagues. Please note: all attendees must register and spaces are limited.

This session is a great opportunity to network with fellow students and QMUL Alumni. Walk-ins are welcome! Refreshments will be available!
