Congratulations on your recent appointment as Research Manager. Please can you tell us more about that role?
As Research Manager at the Blizard Institute, I work closely with the Institute Manager and the Institute Director to support the ongoing development and implementation of Institute research strategies, enhance the research environment and facilitate the delivery of strategic research objectives.
What’s the most interesting thing you’re working on right now?
We are organising a regular series of Whiteboard and Seminar sessions to support academics with their research grant applications. These events will widely benefit colleagues at the Blizard Institute who are applying for research funding from presentations but also from discussions around colleagues’ proposals in order to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement of research applications.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the Human and their interaction with the world and their environment.
Tell us something that we don’t know about you!
There’s not a continent on earth that I have not travelled to, and I speak four languages fluently.
