Over the past 20 years Stefan has held several senior leadership roles in higher education. Currently, he is Deputy Vice-Principal (Education) at Queen Mary University of London with responsibility for the education of +33,000 students. His portfolio includes strategic education projects, digital education, education infrastructure and academic leadership programmes. Stefan has always been passionate about bringing academia and practice closer together and to bridge what some refer to as the theory-practice gap. He collaborated with more than 100 companies across the globe over the past two decades. Stefan has supported these companies to develop more inspirational, passionate, purposeful, energising and responsible leadership to achieve their key objectives - particularly, to successfully develop and implement strategy. This work includes executive coaching and consultancy work at C-level. Stefan is also frequently invited as a keynote speaker and panelist. Moreover, over the past 25 years, Stefan has taught leadership around the world to many thousand students in Bachelor, Master and E/MBA programmes. His personal leadership credo is to empower people to grow.
