Disability Positive Employers
To identify which organisations are disability friendly, the government runs a scheme called the Disability Confident Scheme.
Organisations use the disability confident scheme symbols on their websites and adverts to show that they are committed to offering an interview to a disabled candidate if they meet the minimum requirements for a job.
There are three different symbols employers use on their website or adverts. The first two symbols below are self-assessed by the organisation, while the third has been assessed by an independent party. There is also a full list that is always updated on employers that are signed up to this scheme. This link allows you to search for specific companies and check whether they are a disability friendly employer and which symbol they currently hold.
