The CCLS Indonesia Chapter and CCLS Distance Learning TMT Chapter would like to invite CCLS alumni to attend their collaboratively organised webinar which focuses on the topic: Merger and Acquisitions in the Tech Sector- The Role of Law, Compliance, and Policy in Shaping the Digital Economy.

Discussion Topic: This discussion aims to evaluate the effectiveness of current laws and regulations in promoting and supporting economic growth within the Digital Economy. We will examine various legal frameworks across different jurisdictions to determine how they can facilitate sustainable mergers and acquisitions in the tech sector, thereby helping to reduce inequality.

Additionally, we will critically analyze areas that require improvement and propose actionable solutions to address these gaps.

Audience:

This is open to anyone interested in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), compliance, antitrust and competition law, data protection and privacy law, cybersecurity law and policy, foreign investment and national security law, TMT-ICT policy, the digital economy, and sustainability.
