Suruchi photoSuruchi (Intellectual Property Law LLM, 2016) has been working as a ‘Senior specialist - Legal’ with Apotex, the largest Canadian owned pharmaceutical company and the largest producer of generic medicines in Canada, for nearly a year now. Prior to this role, straight after graduating from CCLS, Suruchi worked for WNS Global Services, a Business Process Management company.

This is what Suruchi says about her studies at Queen Mary:

Taking up a Masters course at Queen Mary University of London has undoubtedly defined my career path in the field of law. My experience at the University was amazing. As already said by number of students, I was in love with the campus too. This experience not only gave me the knowledge but also the opportunity to look at law and related careers in different ways. I know what really interests me and where I am going. A great campus located in London, surrounded by parks and canal. Accessibility to a number of great libraries and to a number of online legal databases was an added advantage while studying at QM. I was so fortunate to be able to advance my career through postgraduate studies at CCLS. The faculty, and the knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm of the professors is incredible and they provided us with exceptional knowledge and insights into law. We were all encouraged to aim high.

The University hosted a range of events for students, both academic and cultural. Their Career Services also provided insight into searching for and securing positions in the legal world.

I am grateful to all my professors and my classmates for making these achievements possible. I would say to anyone considering applying to Queen Mary University from abroad, not to give a second thought. This shall, definitely be the turning point in your career.
