Theominique NottageOn 21st January Theominique Nottage (Comparative and International Dispute Resolution LLM, 2016) organised a virtual symposium together with The Bahamas Ministry of Financial Service, Trade & Industry, and Immigration. The symposium was about ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Bahamas: Charting a New Course’.

The Prime Minister of The Bahamas, the Most Honourable Dr. Hubert Minnis, gave the opening remarks at the event and the Chief Justice of The Bahamas, His Lordship, the Honourable Mr. Chief Justice Sir Brian Moree, QC, was a featured speaker. CCLS Professor Loukas Mistelis also spoke at this online event. After the event Professor Mistelis commented that "it is wonderful to see our alumni taking the lead in developing a dispute resolution culture and infrastructure in their home jurisdictions. We are at their side to support their excellent work in whatever way we can".
