The World Children's Day webinar explored the role of Child Online Protection in Shaping Better Future Generations in the Digital Era.
In celebration of World Children’s Day on 20th November, the CCLS Indonesia and Caribbean Alumni Chapters jointly hosted a timely webinar titled "The Role of Child Online Protection in Shaping Better Future Generations in the Digital Era, Fourth Industrial Revolution".
The event brought together CCLS Alumni who have gone on to be industry experts to assess the adequacy of current international law and regulation in the facilitation of Children's Rights, and discuss the ethics of this subject area, applicable in the current digital era.
With the webinar focus being on developments in AI, the internet, and media, the discussion offered valuable insights and solutions on how to improve child protection laws and ensure a safer online environment for future generations.
The event featured keynote speaker Prof. Susi Dwi Harijanti from Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), with speakers including Mr. Ahed Attar, Ms. Nazeera Ali, Mr. Firdausi Firdaus, and Ms. Aleima Sharuna. Dr. Sezen Kama Işik moderated, with Filiz Piyal and Svetlana Chastnaya hosting.
