Our Cancer Diagnosis Audit Tool supports GPs to reflect on past cancer diagnoses by quarter and identify any avoidable delays.

How it works
The tool auto-fills fields using data from the patient record, making it easier to complete an audit and review delays in cancer care. Practices run a single search in their clinical system and import the results into the tool to:
Review quarterly activity
- Audit cancer diagnoses one quarter at a time, or for multiple quarters in the previous financial year.
Work smarter
- The tool auto-fills audit fields using data from patient records
Address inequalities
- Reflect on patient demographics, co-morbidities, age at diagnosis, tumour group and identify any areas for improvement.
How to access
The CEG Cancer Diagnosis Audit Tool is only available to GP practice teams in the North East London NHS region. If you have not yet downloaded this tool, or need support using it, please contact your local CEG facilitator.
