Profile

Fahima graduated from Queen Mary University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management in 2023. In 2024, she formally joined the institution as Strategic Partnerships Officer. Fahima works across two teams: the Centre for Creative Collaboration and the Civic Engagement Team. Here she handles the Centre for Creative Collaboration’s social media, website and monthly newsletter, as well as assisting in the development of the university’s Civic Delivery plan.

 

Previously, Fahima participated in the Spring 2023 Assistant Producer Scheme, collaborating with students and recent graduates to produce the ‘Connect the Dots’ festival, aimed at fostering connections between Queen Mary and the East End local community.

 Her tenure as a Student Ambassador involved contributions to student widening participation initiatives, including the AQA Summer School and serving as a UniBuddy to assist prospective students with their online inquiries.

 

Fahima is experienced in managing and executing events as demonstrated at her time working as the Events Coordinator for the QM Book Club Society, which was nominated for Society of the Year and the Student Community Award. Notably, she introduced the annual ‘Spring Ball’ event for the society, which continues to be a highlight at the end of each academic year.
