She is one of the leading scholars in creating linkages between these two fields and currently holds a research chair in “Child Development and Child Rights”.She has worked with various universities, and UN agencies including the UN CRC, WHO, UNESCO, and UNICEF and served as the ECD-Technical Officer in WHO-HQ in Geneva. She is the Principal Investigator of The GlobalChild Project which resulted in the development of the world’s first comprehensive child rights monitoring platform: the GlobalChild platform. She has implemented ground-breaking knowledge translation activities such as the ‘Global Child Rights Dialogue (GCRD)’ which sought the opinions of children from 43 countries on their rights under the CRC.
