New Book Forum: 'Whaling in the Antarctic' by Professor Malgosia Fitzmaurice and Professor Dai Tamada

The Centre for Law and Society in a Global Context (CLSGC) in the School of Law at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) host this new book forum for the new book, 'Whaling in the Antarctic: Significance and Implications of the ICJ Judgment', edited by Professor Malgosia Fitzmaurice (QMUL) and Professor Dai Tamada (Kobe University), published by Brill. The forum will begin with an introduction by Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas, head of the Law Department at QMUL, and followed by a discussion of the book by Professor Fitzmaurice and Professor Tamada, and short commentary.

About the Book

This publication gives an in-depth analysis of a very important but complex case before the International Court of Justice. It deals with substantive and procedural aspects of the case, analysed extensively by eminent international lawyers and practitioners. The Whaling in Antarctic case is a landmark case in international law.
