Dr Maks Del Mar to speak at conference on Law and Poetics in Cambridge

Dr Maks Del Mar, Reader in Legal Theory at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), will deliver a paper at an international conference on 'Law and Poetics in Early Modern England and Beyond', being held between 2 and 4 July 2018, at the University of Cambridge. Dr Del Mar's paper is entitled 'Subjunctive Exemplarity in Legal Thought', and will offer a model of the poetics of legal thought based on the conjunction of two modes of cognition: the 'if' and the 'example'.
