Centre for Computational Biology

LSI Centre for Computational Biology

The Centre for Compuational Biology (CCB) is a cross cutting centre composed of members with substantial expertise in all areas of computational biology. It is one of four Centres within QMUL's Life Science Initiative. The Centre is jointly led by Professor Claude Chelala and Professor Conrad Bessant, with assistance from Henry Li and the LSI team. We aim to deliver initiatives in three main areas:

  • Research
  • Training
  • Development

We bring together expertise in compuational biology across individual domains from QMUL. Our definition of this field is broad, from algorithm development for genome analysis, through to simulation and modelling of biological systems, to quantatitive geography and digital health.
