Profile

Dr. Jeniffer Perussolo is a Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology and a member of the Centre for Oral Clinical Research and Centre for Oral Bioengineering at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), UK. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), Brazil, followed by advanced specialization in Periodontology, a Master’s, and a PhD from the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil. She further refined her expertise through a prestigious Osteology Foundation Research Scholarship, conducting research at QMUL’s Centre for Oral Clinical Research, where she later continued as a Clinical Research Fellow.

Dr. Perussolo is actively engaged in teaching and clinical research, with a focus on Periodontology, Implant Dentistry, wound healing, and regenerative therapy. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students at QMUL, delivering lectures, clinical supervision, and research mentoring. Her academic contributions include numerous publications in high-impact journals and authorship of book chapters, demonstrating her commitment to advancing evidence-based dentistry. Additionally, she serves as a peer reviewer for esteemed scientific journals.

She is an active member of several scientific societies, including the Osteology Foundation Expert Council, the National Osteology Group UK Leadership Team, and the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) Junior Academy, where she plays a leadership role. She is also a member of the Student’s Research Support Committee at the Institute of Dentistry, QMUL, contributing to the academic and research development of students.

Dr. Perussolo is dedicated to mentoring and supervising postgraduate research projects. Her contributions to clinical research are supported by various research grants, further solidifying her impact in the fields of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
