Profile

As an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in special care dentistry, I am involved in delivering and researching dentistry for vulnerable populations including those with physical or learning disabilities, medically-complex patients, older persons, dental anxiety/phobia, patients with mental health conditions, and many others.

Research Interests:

My research interests include implementing and evaluating novel innovations and data science to improve the population and individual health of vulnerable populations including the learning disability and end-of-life populations.

I am currently preparing an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship Grant Application regarding utilising electronic health records to examine the oral health of patients with learning disabilities.
