Profile

I graduated from King’s College London in 2008. I completed my Vocational Training with the London scheme  and then worked as a trust dentist in king’s college Hospital in the paediatric, maxillofacial, acute dental care and oral medicine departments. Following this, I started working in Aachen University hospital in Aachen, Germany in the orthodontic and oral surgery departments where I have achieved the experience of teaching the undergraduates. I then joined a  private referral practice and worked as a General Dental Practitioner for few years.

I have achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy(FHEA)  by successfully completing a two-year fellowship program at QMUL (PgCert), earning a Distinction.

Teaching

I am involved in clinical teaching of: BDS undergraduate, postgraduate MSc courses.
Dental hygienists/therapists, including clinical supervision, seminars and lectures.

I teach small group tutorials for both BDS and post graduate students.

I am responsible for designing and coordinating all dental radiology summative and formative assessments for BDS, BSc and post Grad MSc programs. This includes OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), SCR (Structures Critical Reasoning),SAQ (Short Answer Questions) and Radiology Gateway assessments.

I am a BDS2 pastoral care adviser responsible for providing guidance and support through small group sessions and individual consultations.
