MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

DERI invites expressions of interest from researchers interested in submitting a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) application with DERI as the host organisation. MSCA PFs are funded by the European Commission.

The MSCA Fellowships are aimed at attracting excellent researchers of any nationality who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary, and inter-sectoral mobility.

About DERI

DERI is a recently established, interdisciplinary research institute designed to facilitate world-leading research into AI, and digital, and data science, uniting researchers from across all disciplines to collaborate to tackle global issues.

As a recently established institute, we are going through a period of rapid expansion and are keen to welcome early career researchers on prestigious fellowships who share our vision. DERI has a dedicated space, and hosts its own GPU HPC Cluster called Andrena, which Fellows would have access to. Fellows could expect to join a vibrant community of DERI based staff, and DERI/Alan Turing Institute Fellows who all contribute in various ways to our growing community. Fellows would become part of the DERI community and would have access to a range of workshop and training opportunities through the Queen Mary Academy.

What does the Fellowship offer?

The Fellowship is a prestigious EU funding scheme which supports mobility, career development and training in Europe and beyond. The fellowship offers a 12-24 months’ highly competitive salary and research/training funds, as well as funding to support dependents if required.

See EC guidance for eligible extensions to 8-year rule, and days via EC eligibility Tool

Note, resubmissions restrictions will apply for those who score lower than 70% in the previous year.

How to Apply

Expressions of Interest should be submitted to deri@qmul.ac.uk by July 22nd 2024.
