Dani Pedrosa profile picture

With an extensive background in writing, producing, film directing and editing, I bring over a decade of experience in creating engaging and compelling narratives in the multimedia industry, having worked in advertising, documentaries, fiction, music videos, to name a few.

My passion for a career in education was inspired by my experiences as a student and my interest in blending storytelling and filmmaking with teaching and learning. Before joining the Digital Education Studio, I was filmmaking manager in Domestika – an online company specialising in online courses for professionals - and oversaw the global training for the technical crew.

Five years ago, I packed my bags and moved from Madrid to London, chasing new adventures and opportunities to tell fascinating stories. That adventure led me here.

I am excited to join the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Digital Education Studio as your new Multimedia Producer. I hope to work with you and combine my storytelling expertise with the exciting world of digital education, bringing creative flair to the exciting projects of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

Akpene (Penny) Agbo, User Experience (UX) Designer

I am passionate about bringing my experience as a UX Designer to help understand how learners' needs and preferences can help us develop high-quality online learning experiences.

My degree in Computer Engineering and MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Leicester provide me with a solid foundation in understanding how users interact with digital products and services. I worked as a UX designer and researcher in various industries, including one of the Big 4 consultancy firms. I have a proven track record of conducting UX projects from conception to completion, employing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and design tools.

I am excited about being a part of the Digital Education Studio and the chance to contribute meaningfully to teaching and learning practice in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
