The British Council are delighted to host a webinar aimed at those working in UK international education with responsibility for visa immigration and compliance. After the recent announcement that the UK has announced a 2-year post-study work visa for international students, we hope you can join us at this exciting time.
The webinar will be lead by the British Council’s adviser on visa immigration and compliance, Helen Clews. The Home Office will attend to present on current immigration issues. Representatives from 2 immigration lawyer firms are also confirmed; Nichola Carter of Carter Thomas Solicitors will discuss ‘An overview of UKVI & OISC compliance for education providers’ and Esyllt Martin of Eversheds Sutherland will provide advice on ‘Home Office inspections’.
The webinar costs £150 +VAT. This price allows a maximum of 2 attendees per institution. There are limited spaces available and these are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The webinar will last for 90 minutes with a Q&A session opportunity for 20 minutes available at the end.
