The symposium will take place on the LSE campus from 26 to 28 April 2023 and abstract submission deadline is Friday, 17th February 2023.

We encourage submissions that engage with (any part of) 'Europe’ in a broadly critical vein. The conference will be divided into three workshops: “Violence and the politics of memory”, “Neoliberalism and the political economy of precarity”, and “Secularism and the racialisation of religion”, which will allow for more tailored feedback and exchange on participants’ papers. A limited amount of travel and accommodation funding is available for participants not based in London.
