At Queen Mary we are committed to supporting our staff with caring responsibilities and have recently undertaken a survey to understand the experience of these staff. To improve our understanding of the experience of carers, the EDI Team will be running three focus group sessions in September 2021.
Focus groups will take place at the following dates and times:
The focus groups will be open to all staff who identify as carers and will explore your experience working as Queen Mary, support available and develop our understanding of what further resources we can put in place to support our carers. The focus groups will take place on MS Teams. All information shared in the focus group will be anonymised and any reports will not contain personal information. The insight from the focus groups will be used to inform provision of support offered to carers and will be included in our institutional Athena Swan application.
