This year CATAC will be taking place in Bristol on Thursday, 19 May 2022 from 09.30-17.30.
The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, 18 February at 16.00.
CATAC is the only UK-wide cross specialty conference open to all aspiring clinical academics (within medicine, dentistry, and veterinary sciences) currently working in the UK. We are seeking submissions for oral and poster competitions, which give the opportunity for sharing research, getting feedback from peers and Academy Fellows, and winning prizes up to £2,500. The application form and further guidelines are available on the Academy of Medial Sciences website.
Competitions are open to early-career (pre- and post-doctoral) clinical academics with medical, dental, or veterinary degrees. We also welcome attendees who don’t wish to compete and will open registration for this in March. CATAC is a unique cross-specialty event designed to bring academics from medical, dental, and veterinary backgrounds together to network and present their research in a supportive environment. You can view keynote talks and research presentations from the last conference on the webpage. The event is well attended by Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences and other leaders in biomedical and health research and is the ideal place for clinical academics to meet their peers from across the country.
