The 2020 GradFest will take place between 20-30 April and we are offering 15 awards of up to £500 to PhD students who propose and host an event. The event can be anything you like, eg seminar, performance, workshop, training session, open mic night, etc. Past events included painting with bees, a photo exhibition of PhD students' research, mindfulness sessions, yoga and film screenings (you can view last year's events here).
The annual GradFest is organised by PhD students for PhD students with the aim to bring researchers together and showcase the cutting-edge research being conducted by PhD students at Queen Mary.
The GradFest steering committee is happy to discuss any proposals/ideas with you. The event doesn’t have to be fully formed at this stage - we can help shape your ideas further once the proposal is accepted.
To submit an event proposal, please complete the online application form at http://bit.ly/Gradfest2020 by the end of 20 February 2020.
