'Library Services during COVID-19' webpage launched

Information about online resources can be found on the new webpage in the section 'Access to resources and support in using them'; this includes a very useful list of e-resources that publishers have made freely available.

The existing list of databases available via the Library includes a number of major resources such as:

  • JISC Journal Archives - journal content from Brill, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Physics, ProQuest, OUP, CUP, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and Taylor and Francis, plus the complete run of Spare Rib
  • Zetoc - runs from 1993 onwards, covers all disciplines; access to over 36,000 journals, over 59 million article citations and conference papers, and over 875,000 open access article citations and conference papers from PubMed.
  • Historical Texts - containing the UK Medical Heritage Library, EEBO (Early English Books Online), ECCO (Eighteenth Century Collections Online), and 65,000+ items from the BL's 19th-century collection.
  • There's also CORE, a huge searchable collection of open access research papers.
