PostGraduate Hour

The Doctoral College opens its (virtual) doors every other Wednesday for an hour-long drop in session for Queen Mary's PGR students for useful tips and chatter. This is an opportunity for PGR students to contact the Doctoral College with any queries in an informal setting but also for catch-up with fellow PGR students across Queen Mary.

These will be hybrid events, taking place online via MS Teams as well as in-person.

We are pleased to announce the 2022/23 semester 2 schedule for these hybrid sessions.

  • First session: 8th February 2023, 1-2pm
  • 22nd February 2023, 11.30am – 12.30pm
  • 8th March 2023, 1-2pm - info session for international students with QMUL Advice & Counselling
    Join us 8th March 2023, 1-2pm, for a special info session for international PGR students with QMUL Advice & Counselling for any tips and tricks on the do's and don'ts for being an international PGR student in the UK. 
  • 22nd March 2023, 12-1pm
  • 5th April 2023, 1-2pm
