The NIHR is currently reviewing the open access policy for peer-reviewed research publications to make sure it works for the breadth of its portfolio and stakeholder community. The survey is open to any individual, group or organisation to respond and will be closing on 10 November 2020.
Open access makes published academic research freely and permanently available online to read and reuse.
As part of the review, the NIHR have been working closely with its stakeholder community and would now like to gather views on open access, current policy and proposed policy options. Outcomes from this survey will help shape the direction of future open access policy.
In parallel to the survey, virtual workshops will be held for public contributors to feed into the policy review. You can find further information on the workshops, the survey and the NIHR open access policy review on the NIHR website.
