Meet our Panelist Dr Katherine Evely

Dr Kate Evely attended the State University of New York at Buffalo (University at Buffalo) as a Division 1 Student Athlete, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology & Toxicology and was a coxswain on the varsity rowing team.

She continued at the University at Buffalo to complete a Master of Science in Pharmacology & Toxicology before entering the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences’ PhD Program in Neuroscience. Following completion of her dissertation, Kate worked briefly in the area of medical communications before joining Covalon Technologies, a biotechnology and medical device company focused on infection prevention. In her role as Director of Clinical Affairs at Covalon, Kate works on evidence generation, medical communications and supports other functions, such as regulatory affairs, research & development, and marketing as new products are brought to global markets. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and nature while sailing, biking and riding horses. 


Dr Evely will take part in the panel discussion on perceptions of stereotypes applied to women who publicly communicate their STEMM work, on 26th March 2021 at 3:15pm GMT.
