Dr Margot Khouri is an immunologist, with a speciality in vaccines and cell and gene therapy. After a Master’s degree in France, she did a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute, which she describes as an eye opening experience into the world of academia and research.
“While I enjoyed working in the lab, I realised I was much happier talking to people and networking. After attending numerous career events, I decided to drive my path towards sales in the science field. With this, I have travelled the world, had fantastic scientific conversations with humbling talents and spoken at international conferences to promote innovative technologies. Ultimately, this is another way to accelerate the roll out of life-saving therapies to patients.”
Dr Khouri's talk about career transition from Academia to Industry will take place on 25th March 2021 at 1pm GMT.
