This conference is hosted by the BUPT-QMUL Joint Teaching and Learning Centre (JTLC). It will be held at the Xitucheng campus of the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The conference will be an in-person event. 

9 am - 5 pm Beijing Time, Friday 12th May 2023. 

Background

Teaching and learning in STEM higher education continue to face new challenges. Universities and institutions will need to adapt and transform their teaching environment and methods to meet the changing needs. In this conference, we focus on the two future trends in STEM higher education: Digitalisation and Inclusive Curriculum.

Aims

The one-day conference aims to attract participants involved in STEM higher education, particularly in the UK and China. The conference will highlight some of the ongoing studies and projects from the Joint Teaching and Learning Centre, identify and analyse relevant pedagogic approaches and create space for participants to engage in discussion towards Digitalisation and Inclusive Curriculum.

The main themes of the conference are Digitalisation and Inclusive Curriculum. The conference features a programme of keynote speakers, oral presentations, poster exhibitions and round table discussions.
