Overall student satisfaction in Electronic and Electrical Engineering teaching in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science has increased by 16% in the latest National Student Survey compared to 2014 to 82%.
Overall student satisfaction in Electronic and Electrical Engineering teaching in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science has increased by 16% in the latest National Student Survey compared to 2014 to 82%. The huge increase in satisfaction moves us 25 places up the league tables.
The National Student Survey is an annual survey of student perceptions of things like teaching, assessment, resources and personal development. Professor Geraint Wiggins, Head of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, said the results were a vindication of the hard work of staff in the school.
“To see such a massive leap in both student satisfaction and our ranking is very satisfying. It’s proof of the hard work put in by all our academic and administrative staff and the excellent relationship we have with our students” said Professor Wiggins.
Overall satisfaction at QMUL is at 88 per cent, up from 86 per cent in 2014. The results of the 2015 National Student Survey mean that QMUL is now in the top ten in the Russell Group and joint first in London for student satisfaction.
