Robot control with virtual reality and haptics interfaces

In this topic, you will create, explore and validate novel human-machine interfaces for controlling robotic systems with the help of virtual reality and haptic interfaces. The project will include the development of novel hardware and software human-machine interaction methods with applications to remote robot control, VR gaming, interaction, simulators and telerobotics.
The research programme will include development, experimental evaluation with human-participants, data and control system analysis. The specific topic and application can be identified based on your research interests. The desirable skills include computer/microcontroller programming, CAD and control systems analysis.
