Making payments online

Please note that transactions may take up to two working days to be reflected in the university bank account and your student account. 

You can pay online using a debit or credit card (VISA and MasterCard only), UK bank transfers and to utilise Open Banking (Trustly - Ecospend Technologies Limited). 

Please note: If you are paying by bank transfer via Flywire, you will be presented with Flywire's bank details which are not the same as Queen Mary University of London bank account. Please do not be alarmed, the payment will still be routed to Queen Mary University of London bank account via Flywire.

Verification Processes: Flywire may have additional verification processes to ensure the security and accuracy of transactions, which can sometimes cause a delay.  To ensure your payments are processed as smoothly and quickly as possible, make sure to double-check all the transaction details and initiate transfers well ahead of any deadlines or due dates. If you experience any delays beyond the expected timeframe, contacting Flywire’s customer support can help resolve any issues or provide further clarification on the status of your transfer.

Online payments

You can make online payments for:

  • tuition fees (including deposits)
  • residential fees
  • bench fees
  • field trips
  • resit fees
  • emergency loans.

What you need

  • A valid email address (we will send confirmation of your payment to this address)
  • A MasterCard, Visa, Delta or Maestro credit or debit card
  • Your student ID or application number (this can be found on any correspondence from Queen Mary)
