Martin will explore some of the big opportunities and obstacles for education as technology advances and pedagogy evolves. The lecture is called: ‘Massive Open Online Courses, Napster and the Tyranny of Conventional Wisdom: Where’s the Next Giant Leap for Higher Education?’
Martin has appeared frequently in the media recently, following the launch of a collaborative project between a number of UK institutions to offer the public online access to higher education courses via computers, tablets or smartphones.
