Should Ethics Committees Review AI Research at QMUL?

The AI Ethics and Society Group (AIESG) at Queen Mary University of London invites you to a thought-provoking seminar on the evolving role of ethics oversight in AI research. The event will explore the question: Should Ethics Committees and Institutional Review Boards expand their mandates to review AI research?

 

The seminar will feature a panel discussion examining the current responsibilities of ethics committees and whether they are adequately equipped to address the unique challenges posed by AI research. This will be followed by group discussions.

This event is an excellent opportunity for researchers, students and academics to contribute to a vital discussion about ethical oversight in the age of AI. Whether you have experience in ethics review processes or are simply interested in the topic, your perspectives are welcome.
