Join the Mile End Institute for an evening of celebration to mark its tenth anniversary on Tuesday 4 March 2025!

In 2025, the Mile End Institute, Queen Mary's centre for history, politics and public policy, celebrates its tenth anniversary. In that time, it has sought to promote constructive conversation between politicians, academics, journalists, campaigners and the wider public. It has enhanced Queen Mary's reputation as one of the UK's leading universities for the study of British politics.

On Tuesday 4 March, the Institute will be hosting a reception for Queen Mary staff and students and friends of the Institute to celebrate with drinks and light refreshments. Join our team, politicians, policymakers and public figures to mark a decade of the Mile End Institute and to hear speeches from Dr Sofia Collignon (Director of the Mile End Institute) and Professor Colin Bailey (President and Principal of Queen Mary) to mark the occasion.

Queen Mary alumni and members of the public are warmly invited to attend. Tickets are free, but must be booked in advance on Eventbrite.
